The Café Royale will be offering snacks during break and lunch items starting Monday! To purchase items from the cafe, students must have an account. Saturday, August 20th is the first dance of the year, the Royal Rave! This dance will be on campus and parent volunteers are needed. We have chaperone spots and snack contributions needed. This is a fun way to get your parent service hours completed while enjoying some great music!!! All chaperones must have completed both Virtus and LiveScan to volunteer. Please consider donating any academic books you are not using to the MCP Lending Library. We are in high NEED of: Algebra 1, AP books, and English books. Please drop your donation off in the Main Office or contact Tom Trokey at [email protected] with questions. Thank you!

Please join us for the Parents Association Monthly Meeting on Friday, August 19th from 8:00-9:30 AM in the Café Royale. Our guest speakers are Mr. Susank, Ryan Weisenberg, and Carlesha Harris. Don't forget you earn a parent service hour for attending! We hope to see you there.

Picture day is Wednesday, August 17th. This is a Mass Dress day (please refer to the MCP Handbook for details). Please watch for an email from Lifetouch with purchase information or you can pick up a picture order form in the Main Office. All Fall sports parents - please attend the Fall Athletics Parents Meeting on Monday, August 15th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Café Royale.

If you plan on using the MCP kitchen for team dinners or helping at our special events, please plan on attending the Kitchen Use Training this Monday, August 15th from 5:30-6:30 PM. This training is required for anyone using or helping in the kitchen. This training only has to be done once during your time at MCP. Questions, please email Karen Beaudin at [email protected].

All freshmen families are invited to the annual Freshmen Family Social right before the first dance on Saturday, August 20th from 6:30-8:00 PM on the MCP Football field. Light refreshments will be served. This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow class parents and watch your students enter the dance as a group. Volunteers and contributions are needed. All 9th grade parents, please join us for coffee and pastries right after you drop your student off on Friday, August 12th.

The Freshmen Orientation is on Friday, August 12th. Students should arrive between 8:00-8:20 AM with school starting at 8:30 AM. Dismissal will be around 1:00/1:15 PM after the rally has completed. Paint the M has been moved to Wed., Sept. 28th. Students should bring a fully charged laptop and cell phones to connect with Canvas. Questions, please email the enrollment team.
