MCP International Student Host Family Needed

Today we are reaching out to everyone to help find a home for an international student from Spain who is set to join us at MCP for the second semester. She is a junior and will only be here for the Spring semester before she returns home to finish her secondary schooling. If you have ever wanted to host an international student now is the time. This young lady is amazing, and is very excited about the opportunity to be at Mission College Prep. If we don't find her a host family, unfortunately we will not be able to attend MCP. If you know of anyone or would like more information please contact Ryan Weisenberg at 805-543-2131 or email at [email protected].

LA Youth Day Student Interest Form

MCP is excited to announce that we would like to bring back our participation in the annual Catholic Youth Day in Anaheim. Every year Catholic youth come together for the first day of LA Congress to meet other believers, celebrate mass together, listen to speakers, worship and fellowship. This year Youth Day 2024 is on Thursday, February 15th at the Anaheim Convention Center. The theme is "Your Path Awaits". We are sending out this "Interest Form" to see if our students are interested in pursuing this opportunity. Total cost to families for participation would amount to about $100/student (includes admission to Congress, transportation and hotel accommodations). We would leave MCP after school on Wednesday, February 14th and return the evening of February 15th. In order to get an idea of the number of students who might want to participate we are inviting MCP students to fill out the linked google form. If you have questions or if you would like to volunteer as the Parent Coordinator, please email Mrs. Buresh at [email protected].
