Longtime MCP friend, Dr. Louis Tedone passed away on Sunday

With deepest sympathies, we regret to announce the passing of longtime SLO County pediatrician and MCP supporter, Dr. Louis Tedone. Dr. Tedone peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 10th at the age of 97. Dr. Tedone was SLO County’s first pediatrician and had a passion for making fresh mozzarella. You could see Dr. Tedone at various MCP events throughout the years including at the Annual Royal Dinner & Auction. He will be missed by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness and generosity will live on in the Grace and Lou Tedone MCP Memorial Fund, to benefit the students of Mission College Prep. Dr. Tedone called himself, “Lucky Louie,” but it is his friends and family who were the truly lucky ones for knowing him. May God’s warm embrace welcome Dr. Louis Tedone to eternal life. To contribute to the memorial fund please contact the MCP Business Office (caharris@missionprep.org).
