AP Physics Students - Learning by Doing

This week, the AP Physics students were measuring the coefficient of static and kinetic friction of a wood block on a piece of plywood. Students envisioned the idea for the apparatus, chose the supplies that they needed, and collaborated on the procedure in order to obtain their data. Students will use statistical analysis in order to obtain the coefficient of friction. Students will compare their results to accepted values and address any discrepancies using a thorough analysis of their procedure and apparatus. Way to go Royals!
