Girls & Boys State with the American Legion

Attention Juniors! The American Legion is looking to host delegates for Girls’ and Boys’ State being held this summer. Please let Ms. Foster know if you are interested in participating in one of the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for U.S. high school students. Learn about rights, privileges, and responsibilities of U.S. citizens in a one-week intensive program. Generally, programs are held on a college campus and students live in the dorms – with COVID it may be a virtual event, but in any case it will be fun. Applications will be due next week and interviews will be held the following week. The American Legion will select one female and one male to attend. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity.
