MCP Yearbook Guidelines for 2023-2024
Senior Portraits, Baby Photos, Action Photos Quotes, and
Recognition Ads
Senior Portraits/ September 30th.

You will want to schedule your senior picture appointment with a photographer. If you need recommendations, please email us. All senior portraits must be submitted electronically to the yearbook advisor by September 30th. So, Please make sure you have this done this summer.
Senior portraits can be taken at home, or a professional photographer of your choosing. Images must be submitted via https://missionprep.wetransfer.com; no hardcopies, disks or flash drives please. Please title the image: “Last name First name Senior portrait”.
Photos must meet these specifications:
Vertical only
Aspect ratio roughly 2:3
Minimum of 3” on the long (vertical) side
300 ppi (pixel per inch)
sRGB color space
JPEG saved at maximum quality (12 or no compression)
Attire must be appropriately modest according to MCP dress code policy
The yearbook advisor will approve the image before it can be printed in the yearbook. Per school dress code, attire should be professional and modest.
Baby Photos
It is MCP tradition to include a baby photo of each senior student. Baby photos must be submitted electronically to the yearbook advisor by September 30, 2023. Please make sure the file is JPEG format saved at maximum quality. Title the file “last name first name baby photo”. Submit to https://missionprep.wetransfer.com
Action Photos
This photo is about what your senior loves, is it a sport, art, drama, cooking? Send us a picture of them doing what they love.

Senior Quotes
Seniors have the option to include a senior quote to be printed in the book. The quote must be appropriate, and will be subjected to approval by the yearbook advisor before printing. You are encouraged to submit something that will remain meaningful and representative many years into the future. The quote must be no more than 100 characters, including spaces and the name of the person being quoted. Please email the quote with by line to [email protected] by September 30, 2023.
Most Important!
Senior Recognition Ads
Senior recognition ad pages will be available to design and purchase beginning in September. Sales will close in December or when space sells out. It is helpful to begin collecting historical photos so that you can construct the most meaningful page possible. Communication on pricing and procedures for designing the ads will be emailed to you directly by Jostens Yearbook. This is always a beautiful way to honor your students. These are Due on November 1st. You will receive a follow up email in September with directions.
