MCP Academic Support Student & Parent Seminars

During this last marking period of the semester MCP will be offering academic support seminars for students and parents. All students are welcome to attend, please use the QR code found on the flyers around campus to sign up. The student seminars will be held after school 2:40 pm - 3:30 pm in room 314. 

Parents are encourage to attend the evening seminars, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm on Zoom. All MCP parents will be emailed the Zoom link the day of the training. No pre-registration needed.

This seminar will show how to use the habits it takes to complete tasks and allow you to successfully meet your goals.

Do Less to Study More - Presenter: Dr. Schmoll, Room 314

This seminar will show you how to save time by knowing how to study for your math, science, social studies, religion, and language classes.

 

Thurs May 9  

Rethinking your Devices in your Life - Presenter: Ms. Randall, Room 314 

This seminar will help you consider a reset with the role your phone, apps, and computer play in your life. 

 

Thurs May 16  

Coping Skills and Self Care based on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs - Presenter: Mrs. Lua, Room 314

This seminar will help you use Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to find the self-care and coping skills that you need to maintain your basic human needs.
