Annual and lifetime gold cards are sold for free admission for immediate family members (parents and siblings of athlete) AND Grandparents to all MCP and OMS home games during the school year (CIF and State Playoff games, tournaments and Christmas Classic are excluded). Entitlement to one admission to the dinner and auction (upon registration) is included with the purchase of a gold card. Two tickets per year for life are included in the Lifetime gold card. Cards are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
Concession & Barbecue
This committee organizes and operates the concession stand and barbecue for home football games and other venues. We are grateful to the SLO Lions Club for operating the bbq.
Barbecue & Auction Fundraiser
The biggest event of the club is this casual and fun fundraiser. In addition to an excellent barbecue dinner and open bar, there are fabulous silent, super silent and live auction items as well as popular raffle prizes. Socializing with parents, staff and coaches is always worthwhile at this memorable tradition held in San Luis Obispo in the Fall.
Membership & Publicity
This committee promotes club participation and membership through gold card sales and activities, and provides information through schools’ newsletter, flyers, and news media.
Service & Scholarship Awards
The Chairperson coordinates and presents the Service Award at the annual dinner to past active Booster Club members. The Chair also facilitates the Scholarship Award given in the Spring to two service oriented Juniors chosen by the coaches, staff and faculty to use for school expenses their Senior year.
Merchandise & Apparel
Merchandise and apparel are sold at booster sponsored concession stands and other school related activities. Current inventory includes hats, beanies, aprons, blankets, sports bags, tee shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and stadium chairs.
‘Hackers' Golf Tournament
This is a low-key golf tournament originated to foster school community building in a non-competitive atmosphere of fun for staff, faculty, families and friends.
